Brumbies v Lions
Sky Sports Action, 10.45am Saturday

Both the Brumbies and Lions are having inconsistent season so the best bet in Canberra looks to be home hooker Folau Fainga'a to claim a seventh try of the season.

Four of Fainga'a's five-pointers have come in the ACT-franchise home games this campaign and he has clearly come the focus of their rolling maul and pick-and-drives this season after last year's breakthrough campaign which ended with Wallabies caps.

The Lions will know what's coming and love a battle up front but the Brumbies have won their last two GIO Stadium outings and the Joburg-outfit need to pick up themselves up from a 42-5 hammering by the Sharks at Ellis Park last Saturday.

Recommendation
F Fainga'a to score a try
1pt 11-8 Sky Bet

Chiefs v Blues
Sky Sports Action, 8.35am Saturday

Saturday's fare starts with a cracker in Hamilton and while the cowbells may well be ringing out for the Chiefs come the final whistle, the Blues are worth a wager with a five-point handicap start.

The Blues make the short journey down the north island to Waikato from Auckland seeking a fifth-straight win and they have picked up losing-bonus points against the Crusaders and in Buenos Aires against Jaguares this campaign too.

Before their bye week, the Chiefs finally found some fluency with exciting wins in Pretoria against the Bulls and Buenos Aires against Jaguares.

However, they have struggled for structure in front of their own fans this season with defeats to the Highlanders and Sunwolves and a draw with the Canes and their defence was torn apart on their travels at the Crusaders and Brumbies.

Recommendation
Blues +5
1pt 10-11 general
