London Irish are unbeaten in their last five Premiership home games but Harlequins look the right favourites when the sides meet on Saturday as their free-scoring form has put them firmly in the playoff mix.

Quins have scored 19 tries in their last three games while their last two away matches have ended in narrow defeat to top-two sides Exeter and Bristol thanks to winning tries scored in the 74th and 80th minute.

Irish have been scoring heavily at home too, although their most recent victory at the Brentford Community Stadium was against a Bath side reduced to 13 men by the end.

This could be an open and high-scoring game but Quins look to have the firepower to edge it.

Both these teams have been showing strong form and an East Midlands derby is always a fierce contest, but visitors Northampton look the bet with a small start.

Leicester have won their last six at home, but Northampton have lost just once on the road in all competitions and have won on two of their last three visits to Welford Road.

Saints' pack were dominant against London Irish last week and this has the makings of a close battle.
