Preview

Even if the rain comes early to Llanelli, bookmakers are probably right to expect Scarlets to give up around 30 points to Zebre in making it three wins out of three for the campaign.

However, the better value bet at Parc y Scarlets looks to be to back their inside centre Paul Asquith to score a try.

Former Aussie Sevens ace Asquith has crossed the whitewash in the Scarlets' 18-10 home success over Connacht and their 25-21 victory up at last year's runners-up Glasgow to take his try tally for the West Wales outfit to 11 in 45 appearances.

Zebre lost 42-0 at Parc y Scarlets last April and have been beaten 50-15 by Edinburgh at Murrayfield and 52-28 by the Dragons in Parma this term.

Ospreys have endured a tough start to the season with heavy defeats on trips to Ulster and champions Leinster, but they can get a win on the board with a home victory by ten points or more over Benetton.

Benetton lost 41-5 at Connacht last Saturday and were beaten 27-10 at the Liberty Stadium last September.

Glasgow and Cardiff both lost home games last weekend on their return from starting to the season in South Africa so their Scotstoun scrap is best watched rather than wagered on.
