Sale are worth a wager to win their televised Premiership tussle at the AJ Bell Stadium with Wasps by one to 12 points.

The Sharks shaded April's Salford encounter between the teams 28-27 and they also enjoyed narrow home victories over Wasps in the previous two campaigns.

Solid home form kept Sale in the top-six race last season until the final round when a disappointing loss to Leicester meant they finished eighth. While they will have been expecting to rack up the points against winless Worcester in round two, they showed decent determination to grind out a 21-16 success.

Wasps, still not consistent winners on their travels, could prevail only 21-20 at the Warriors in round one and they have been involved in loose encounters with Exeter and Leicester since.

Armchair Pro14 punters are in clover with five live games from Port Elizabeth to Dublin and Swansea via Galway and Newport. Take Glasgow to give up 21 points to the Kings and back Leinster hooker James Tracy to score a try against Edinburgh.

Glasgow beat the Cheetahs 52-24 in Bloemfontein last Saturday to make it three wins out of three and won last season's meeting at Scotstoun 43-13 with seven tries. The Kings, who lost ten of 11 games at the Nelson Mandela Stadium last term, were beaten 28-7 at home by Ulster on Sunday.

With all their backline big guns rolled out, Leinster are a tempting proposition giving up 20 points to an Edinburgh outfit who have been involved in three tough battles this term.

However, the Pro14 and Champions Cup kings are unlikely to stop using the powerful pack moves that have served them well in recent times and Tracy, who crossed the whitewash in their round one win at Cardiff, is as much a feature of their rolling maul and pick-and-drives as their mighty back-rowers.
