Harlequins started their European Challenge Cup campaign with a bang, beating Stade Francais 43-21 in the opening fixture of the tournament, and they name a strong team to face Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon.

Beaten finalists last year, Quins have made clear their intention to go one better this time and their stance is in stark contrast to that of other teams who are quite happy to field second-string line-ups.

Edinburgh also opened with a win making it back-to-back victories under new coach Duncan Hodge, who stepped in to fill the breech after Alan Solomons’ unexpected departure.
