The eagerly-awaited Munster v Leinster clash due to be played on Saturday evening has been postponed due to Covid issues, as has Sunday's clash between Glasgow and Edinburgh, but the Welsh derby double-header looks set to go ahead.

The Dragons host Cardiff in the opening contest (3pm) looking to pick up where they left off after a battling win over Glasgow at Scotstoun.

It was a performance that will have lifted morale and coach Dean Ryan will be keen to get back to league matters after two heavy European defeats.

Wales internationals Aaron Wainwright and Jonah Holmes return for the Dragons, who can make the best of a six-point start against a Cardiff side with one win in their last five Pro14 games.

Scarlets are nine-point favourites at the Ospreys in the second game of the day (5.15pm). The teams have identical records of three wins and four defeats.

There are still a host of injury absences from the Scarlets team including internationals Ken Owens, Liam Williams and Samson Lee while Leigh Halfpenny also misses out.

The Scarlets' scheduled Champions Cup match against Toulon last week was called off while the Ospreys have won their last two Challenge Cup matches, against Castres and Worcester.
