Worcester look worth a wager with a nine-point start at home to Exeter even though the Chiefs ran out 34-19 winners at Sixways in the Premiership Cup last month.

The Warriors began the Premiership campaign with a solid 24-16 Sixways success over Leicester to make it four home league wins on the spin and last Saturday they led early pacesetters Northampton 9-6 at the break before succumbing 35-16.

Exeter, last season's runners-up after topping the regular-season table, eked out a 22-19 home win over Harlequins a fortnight ago and lost 13-10 at Bath in round two.

Last March, the Chiefs won 33-30 at Sixways in the league with both teams picking up a four-try bonus point.
