Exeter are in unfamiliar territory sitting mid-table in the Premiership table, and just last week they battled against 14 men for 50 minutes at Newcastle before finally kicking a winning penalty with five minutes to go.

That made it back-to-back wins for the Chiefs after three straight defeats, while Northampton have lost their last two, against Leicester and Sale.

Fly-half James Grayson is back for the Saints, making his first Premiership appearance since November, but the hosts look a little short of power up front against an ever threatening Exeter pack.

Northampton have won only three of their last 11 league fixtures with Exeter, and all of those were by a margin of three points or fewer, so the Chiefs could be value to bag another win.
