France are the only team who can still achieve a Grand Slam in the 2020 Six Nations Championship after England ended Ireland's unbeaten start with a 24-12 success at Twickenham on Sunday.

England, who lost their tournament opener in Paris, had been seven-point favourites but soon wiped out that handicap deficit as they raced into a 17-0 half-time lead.

The home side led 24-5 going into added time before a late try made the scoreline more respectable for the visitors.

France, who beat Wales 27-23 in Cardiff on Saturday, are 5-6 favourites to win the tournament with two rounds of matches left. England are 7-4 with Ireland out to 16-1.

The top three are kept apart in the next round of matches on March 7-8 as Ireland host Italy, England meet Wales in London and France go to Scotland.

France are at home to Ireland in the last match of the competition, with England playing in Rome earlier on Saturday, March 14.

No Grand Slam winner is 8-11 with bet365, who go 11-10 that France complete a perfect campaign.
