Match preview

There's a clash of styles at the Twickenham Stoop as flamboyant, free-scoring Quins host no-frills Leicester and the visitors look the bet to frustrate the champions.

Leicester are top of the table with 17 wins from 20 matches and all three of those defeats have come on the road and by a single-figure margin.

Hosts Harlequins can't boast that win record but they do top the try charts having scored 78 this season, 26 of which have come in their last five games.

Before that impressive run, though, there were a few games when they struggled to hit those heights. They managed one try apiece in defeats at Leicester and Saracens, and two per game at Gloucester and at home to Sale and Exeter.

Those are all uncompromising, physical sides with strong defensive records, and Leicester, joint-top of the defensive charts having conceded 43 tries this season, will have no qualms about putting on the squeeze away from home and stifling the game.

The Tigers are as big as 9-5 for victory but given it could take just one moment of magic from Quins half-backs Danny Care and Marcus Smith to open a gap, backing the visitors with a four-point start looks sensible.
