Waratahs v Chiefs (8.15am) verdict

The Tahs beat the Lions last week but it is hard to forget their three heavy defeats in the opening rounds and the Chiefs are taken to win by ten points or more.

The Chiefs have had a fortnight to regroup after their surprise home loss to the Brumbies and began the campaign with three handy successes including a victory over the Crusaders.

The Chiefs have won the teams' last two meetings by a double-figure margin and scored six tries on each occasion.

Crusaders v Reds (6.05am) verdict

The Crusaders have won their last seven meetings with the Reds and should make it 33 wins (and a draw) in 34 when playing at home in Christchurch comfortably enough.

However, the Reds have been playing pretty well even though they have lost three of their four outings, pushing the Brumbies, Lions and Jaguares on the road and can stay within 26 points.

The Queenslanders have done that in defeat in the teams' last two meetings and the champion Crusaders are yet to win by more than 20 points this campaign.

Sunwolves v Brumbies (3.45am) verdict

Go for nine or more tries in Wollongong even with showers on the forecast.

There have been nine or more tries in three of the teams' previous five meetings, which have all been won by the Brumbies, and all four of the Sunwolves' matches this season.

The game has been switched from Osaka because of coronavirus and the Sunwolves have conceded ten tries in their last two outings against the Hurricanes in Napier and the Reds in Brisbane.

A fortnight ago, the Brumbies bounced back from a rare Canberra defeat against the Chiefs in Hamilton and have scored at least four tries in three of their four games.
