Morale in the Highlanders' camp will be high after they ended the Brumbies' winning run in Canberra last weekend with an injury-time try but the champion Crusaders are unlikely to relinquish any advantage gained.
The red and black machine walloped the Waratahs 42-25 in their first home game of the campaign and they have won the last four Christchurch meetings with the Highlanders by 17 points or more.
The Crusaders have also prevailed by 13 points or more in 14 of their last 16 home Super Rugby victories.
