France have enjoyed a banner year, featuring a Six Nations Grand Slam and a historic winning run, and bookmakers expect them to sign off in style by taking apart a struggling Japan side.

Les Bleus have won their last 12 matches, a sequence that includes two victories over Japan in the summer, and they are 24-point favourites for Sunday’s final autumn international in Toulouse.

France could cruise past that handicap mark if Japan play as poorly as they did when being crushed 52-13 by England last week but it's worth considering how much two hard-fought wins over Australia and South Africa in back-to-back games have taken out of the home side.

Whether they can maintain those high levels of intensity or not, Japan should still struggle to stand up to France’s physicality and number eight Gregory Alldritt is fancied to punch through the Brave Blossoms' defence.

Alldritt had the joint-highest number of carries in France’s last two games and should see plenty of the ball again, making him a value pick to cross the whitewash amongst a sea of odds-on potential French tryscorers.
