Match preview
Not many teams go to Exeter as favourites but the teams have taken different approaches to this contest.
While Exeter, twice winners of the Premiership Cup, have largely stuck with the policy of bringing in younger players in the tournament, Quins have stuck with almost the entire starting line-up that pulled off an impressive bonus-point victory over Saracens last week.
While Harlequins were celebrating that success, Exeter were stunned at home by Sale last week.
There is some experience in the Chiefs' ranks, as back-row powerhouse Don Armand captains the side, but they are up against a full-strength Quins team featuring Chris Robshaw and Danny Care.
Scrum-half Care looks a worthwhile tryscorer wager. His experience and guile around the base of the ruck could be a key weapon against a young team.
A handicap of six or seven points is hard to weigh up. Quins ran Exeter close at Sandy Park on the opening day of the season, edged out 22-19, and look to be at more of an advantage this time. But cup clashes can be cagey and gusting winds can cause problems at the open venue.
