Confident Newcastle should put Brive to the sword
Falcons flying in bid to land European silverware
Newcastle v Brive

Pau v Stade Francais
BT Sport 2, 8pm Friday
Challenge Cup second-favourites Newcastle swept through their pool with six wins out of six and should be confident against a Brive side who appear to fall into the category of French fall guys.
Lying second-bottom in the Top 14, Brive have made 11 changes from the starting line-up that beat Agen in a crucial relegation battle last week and were well beaten on trips to Connacht and Worcester in the group stage.
The Falcons, flying high in the Premiership with eight wins from their last nine, are without wingers Vereniki Goneva and Sinoti Sinoti but should still have the cutting edge to put away a team of poor travellers.
Trophy favourites Pau give up 12 points at home to fellow French side Stade Francais in Friday's other quarter-final.
Recommendation
Newcastle to win by 21 to 30 points
