Saturday preview

In order to give themselves a chance of making the Champions Cup quarter-finals, Glasgow must win with a bonus point at Sale.

This looks a tall order against a Sharks side who went down bravely in France against La Rochelle last weekend.

Despite an impressive first-half performance, Glasgow could only draw against Exeter last weekend and their chances of a third quarter-final appearance in four seasons appear slim.

In the other game in the pool, Chiefs should be too strong for La Rochelle and can secure themselves a home quarter-final.

In Pool Three, Clermont have already qualified but still need a win at the Stoop against Harlequins to ensure they top the pool.

The French side will be hoping to continue their good recent record in England having won on five of their last six trips.

But Quins will be no pushovers at home and could be of interest on the handicap market.

Should they slip up Ulster could sneak in and they are expected to make short work of Bath, who were hugely disappointing against Quins last weekend.

Pool One kicks off the day's action with Leinster looking to complete a perfect pool stage in Italy against Benetton.

Northampton Saints are well placed to join them in the quarter-final as a best runner up and a bonus point win in Lyon should be enough although it will be a tense wait for Chris Boyd's side over the rest of the weekend.
