Thursday Night Football comes from Lambeau Field as the Green Bay Packers host the Tennessee Titans.

After losing five straight, the Packers secured a huge comeback win in overtime against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday as Aaron Rodgers and company kept Green Bay’s faint playoff hopes alive.

In their way now though are a Titans team that is 6-3, top of the AFC South and who have won six of their last seven games.

This is likely to be a close match-up, but with the temperatures forecast to be below zero with a small chance of snow, backing under 41.5 points to be scored could prove to be the bet.

The Titans and Packers are already two of the slowest teams in the NFL in terms of pace. If that happens again, then we should see fewer plays, fewer possessions, and therefore fewer opportunities for points to be scored.

Tennessee are already proven to be a run-heavy team behind Derrick Henry, but the Packers ran the ball 39 times against the Cowboys last week, compared to just 20 pass attempts from Rodgers.

Since Green Bay won that game, expect them to focus on the run a lot more as well. The weather could also push both teams towards that game plan.

The Titans defence have allowed more than 22 points to be scored against them just once this season, and this rigid unit should be capable of frustrating the Packers, especially given Green Bay’s struggles to put points on the board prior to that Dallas game.

The under has hit in nine of Tennessee’s last ten games, and there is every chance that trend continues here.
