After what we saw from these two teams last week, where the Bills dominated Super Bowl champions the Rams and the Titans lost to a weak Giants team, it may seem daunting to be taking Tennessee on the spread. However, this line feels inflated and giving the Titans ten points feels like too much to pass up.

Despite the defeat, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill looked great against the Bills and had the highest explosive pass rate in the NFL. We also saw the emergence of some promising wide receivers as Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips both had solid games.

The Bills' defence may have shut down the Rams last week, but there is reason to think that the Titans can exploit this secondary and put some points on the board.

Meanwhile, Tennessee still has their biggest weapon Derrick Henry firing and ready to go. The running back certainly has the ability to exploit a Bills defence who struggled to defend the run up the middle last season.

The key question is whether Tennessee can stop Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who looked as good as ever last week. However, it’s worth noting that the Titans pressured Giants QB Daniel Jones at the highest rate in the NFL in Week One so there is every chance Allen endures a tougher game than expected.

Ultimately, a Bills victory is expected, but ten points is a lot to give up and the Titans do have the talent to keep this one competitive.
