Match preview

There is no shortage of storylines surrounding Seattle's visit to Lambeau Field to face Green Bay.

Both teams have their elite quarterbacks making a comeback. For the Seahawks, it's Russell Wilson returning from injury after a broken finger, but he has plenty of work to do after the team struggled without him.

Seattle are 3-5 after backup Geno Smith went 1-2 in his three starts. They were able to get a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars before their bye week, but this is a much tougher challenge.

Green Bay have Aaron Rodgers coming back to lead the team after testing positive for Covid-19. He has spent much of his time off facing criticism for breaching protocols when he was unvaccinated.

But on a more positive note, his value to the team was highlighted by Jordan Love's unimpressive performance in his place against Kansas City last week.

The Seahawks are still without running back Chris Carson so Alex Collins will lead their ground game again, but if Wilson comes out swinging he can put on a show and the Seahawks are worth taking with the handicap start.

Rodgers will also be highly motivated after the criticism he has faced, so backing over 48.5 points also appeals in what could turn into a shootout.
