Sky Sports Action, 1.20am Sunday night

Seattle is always a daunting place to go and Kansas City could struggle against a Seahawks side looking to retain their wildcard position.

Pete Carroll’s men had won four straight games before succumbing to an overtime loss in San Francisco last week, but there is plenty to like about Seattle with an offence that boasts plenty of potential.

The running back tandem of Chris Carson and Mike Davis has worked wonders and established the Seahawks as the top rushing offence in the NFL. That will concern their opponents, who have given up 17 rushing touchdowns this season - the third-most in the league.

Kansas City are under heaps of pressure from the Chargers to keep hold of the top seed in the AFC, knowing defeat could potentially see them lose home-field advantage in the playoffs.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been the driving force behind the Chiefs' offence but they have found themselves embroiled in a number of close games recently, and the intimidation of the Seattle crowd could be a decisive factor.

Another tight affair is expected, but this could be the game that makes Seattle a team to watch heading into the post-season.
