The Rams could hardly have had a worst start to the season than a 28-0 defeat to San Francisco on Monday and they have plenty to prove in their first game back in the City of Angels since 1995.

However it hardly seems fair that they have to rectify such a woeful offensive performance against one of the top defences in the league.

Seattle left it late to see off Miami 12-10 last week. That was the fourth time in their last five matches that they failed to cover the handicap but it is highly questionable whether the Rams, who will have to be motivated by their return to southern California, will put up enough points to challenge them.
