Two teams at opposite ends of the standings meet on Thursday Night Football as the 7-0 Eagles head to Houston to take on the 1-5-1 Texans.

The Eagles are the only undefeated team left in the NFL and that has been no fluke, with Philadelphia winning three of their seven games this season by at least 16 points. That included last Sunday’s 35-13 rout of the Steelers.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been running riot on opposing defences who seemingly have no answer for his dual-threat ability, as he is as dangerous running the ball as he is passing it. When you have star receivers like AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith at your disposal as well, it’s a tough assignment for any team to stop Philly from putting points on the board.

This Eagles offence will no doubt be rubbing their hands together ahead of a meeting with the Texans, who have allowed the most rushing yards in the league (1,302) and the second-most yards per carry (5.6). Given that Philadelphia have scored the second-most rushing touchdowns in the NFL, this is as big of a mismatch as it gets.

The Texans have shown some fight at times but it is clear that this team is destined to finish towards the bottom of the standings. They have lost by more than a touchdown in four of their five defeats and scored more than 20 points just once all season.

All things considered, the Eagles should be able to put plenty of points on the board and it’s hard to see the Texans matching them. Go with Philadelphia to win by at least two touchdowns.
