NFL Week Five winners and losers and Week Six handicaps, TV details
Will Fuller filled his boots against Atlanta and Jay Gruden was fired
Here's our verdict on Week Five in the NFL
Winners
1 Will Fuller
What a game for the Houston receiver.
Fuller chalked up 217 yards and three touchdowns in the Texans' 53-32 win over Atlanta which left his team at the top of the AFC South, which is turning into one of the most competitive divisions in the league this season.
They are a general 6-4 to stay there, but it could be a race that goes to the wire.
2 Eagles defence
The New York Jets are not the toughest prospect in the NFL by any means but Philadelphia still enjoyed a day to remember by posting ten sacks on Sunday.
That's the most they have been able to muster since Week Three of the 2007 season - defensive end Brandon Graham leading the way with three.
The Jets average of suffering 5.8 sacks per game in their four outings appears an obvious area for improvement.
3 Teddy Bridgewater
Many thought the New Orleans Saints had kissed goodbye to their Super Bowl hopes when quarterback Drew Brees suffered a thumb injury that required surgery. But they are top of the NFC South having won four of their five games.
Brees made a surprising return to practice this week but even when he's fully fit again, he may have to fight for his place.
Bridgewater, who was a star at Minnesota before suffering a serious injury, threw for 314 yards and four touchdowns in a valuable divisional win over Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Having beaten Houston, Seattle and Dallas, this could still prove a memorable season. Maybe Teddy could be this year's Nick Foles.
Losers
1 Jay Gruden
The Washington head coach was the first to get his cards this season after the Redskins' 0-5 start culminated in a 33-7 loss to the rampant New England Patriots.
It was reported he had to go to team owner Daniel Snyder's office at 5am the next day to receive the bad news.
Come on, folks. At least let the guy have a lie-in before you give him the push, especially as he could have been given a chance to redeem himself against the winless Dolphins this week.
Maybe he'll rock up at Oakland, working for his elder brother Jon.
2 Cairo Santos
There aren't many professional sportsmen who literally have one job, but it was difficult for the Tennessee Titans kicker to maintain his employment after he missed four field goals in their 14-7 defeat to Buffalo.
They will be putting their faith in former Bears kicker Cody Parkey, which is not an easy thing to do bearing in mind that this will be his sixth NFL team - he has also turned out for Philadelphia, Cleveland, Miami and Indianapolis and was fired by Chicago after a costly miss in last season's playoffs.
3 Matt Ryan
It might seem a bit harsh to put someone who became only the fifth quarterback in NFL history to throw for more than 300 yards in each of his opening five games of the season in this section, but just look at the standings.
Atlanta are 1-4 and 250-1 to win their first Super Bowl after their 52-32 defeat at the Houston Texans.
If anyone deserves to give his teammates a talking-to and ask them if he has to do everything on his own, then surely it's the Falcons QB.
0-16 watch
We are down to four teams now who could fail to win a game all season after Denver claimed their first success over AFC West rivals the Los Angeles Chargers and Arizona broke their duck with victory over Cincinnati.
The Bengals have lost all five of their games, but unless there is a tie in Maryland this week, then one of the Washington Redskins and the Miami Dolphins will finally chalk up a figure in the win column.
The New York Jets host Dallas after being handed a pasting by the Cowboys' NFC East rivals Philadelphia.
