Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears

Justin Fields’s debut at quarterback for the Bears last week couldn’t have gone much worse as Chicago managed only 47 total yards on offence in a one-sided loss to Cleveland.

Bears head coach Matt Nagy’s scheme was all wrong for Fields, who could be replaced by a fit-again Andy Dalton for the visit of the Lions.

Detroit dropped to 0-3 with a gut-wrenching loss to Baltimore Ravens last week but they’ve been competitive in all those of games, covering the handicap twice.

Both lines look good for Detroit and they have a nice running-back combo, giving them enough tools to hurt the Bears.

New York Giants at New Orleans Saints

Emotions will be running high at the Superdome when the Saints play their first match in New Orleans since Hurricane Ida hit the city.

New Orleans return from their extended road trip 2-1, thanks largely to a top-three ranked defence that has shut down the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots this year.

Next up are a winless Giants team who were struggling to move the ball even before they lost several receivers to injury. Their defence isn’t much better and Big Blue won’t know what hit it at a super-charged Superdome.

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos

Few teams have enjoyed easier starts to the season than Denver and the Broncos have taken full advantage, moving to 3-0 by knocking off the New York Jets in Week Three.

The visit of a 2-1 Baltimore team is their first real test of the year and it arrives at a bad time with injuries on both sides of the ball starting to mount.

In contrast, the Ravens’ injury crisis is starting to ease. Baltimore know that they need to perform better than they did in Detroit when requiring an NFL record field goal to beat the Lions and can improve upon their run of covering the handicap in seven of their last ten games.

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams

The Rams made a big statement by defeating the reigning champions Tampa Bay last week and they can follow that up by beating divisional rivals Arizona.

Both teams are undefeated but Arizona’s last two performances have raised serious questions. They trailed at half-time to Jacksonville last week before turning the game around and can’t afford to make as many mistakes against LA.

The Rams' offence has been brilliant all year with quarterback Matthew Stafford having already thrown for nine touchdowns and they can tear into the Cards.
