We are only two weeks into the new NFL season but there’s already plenty on the line as Week Three approaches. Those teams at 0-2 can wave goodbye to their playoff dreams if they lose again - only six sides have made the post-season after starting 0-3.

Having come within half a point of landing his 8-1 accumulator last week, Chris Rivers is back to cast his eye over a pivotal slate of games.

Chris has put together a fourfold that pays over 10-1 with bet365.

Atlanta Falcons +3 v New York Giants
LA Chargers +7 v Kansas City Chiefs
Las Vegas Raiders -3.5 v Miami Dolphins
Arizona -7 vs Jacksonville

Bets to be placed by 6pm on Sunday.

Atlanta Falcons at New York Giants

Two 0-2 sides battling to stay relevant meet at the Meadowlands and Atlanta are taken to cover the handicap after a positive showing in a 48-23 defeat at Tampa Bay in Week Two.

The scoreline flattered the Buccaneers as the Falcons moved the ball up and down the field against one of the league’s premier defences. The Giants suffered a morale-destroying loss to Washington last week and there’s not much to like about them as favourites -quarterback Daniel Jones is unpredictable at the best of times.

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs

The Chargers have left so many points on the field as a result of silly penalties through two weeks and should be 2-0 after throwing away the win against the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday.

Quarterback Justin Herbert is playing great and they always give the Chiefs a tough game, going 4-1-1 against the spread in the last six meetings.

Kansas City’s defence has been terrible for a while and it starting to catch up to them as they lost at Baltimore last week. They’ve now failed to cover the handicap in ten of the last 12 games when starting as favourites.

Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders have been the NFL’s surprise package this season, knocking off Baltimore and Pittsburgh to start 2-0. Quarterback Derek Carr looks much improved, while Maxx Crosby has been a monster on defence. That spells trouble for Miami’s back-up quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who was awful when replacing the injured Tua Tagovailoa in the 35-0 loss to Buffalo. The Dolphins defence did as much as they could against the Bills but got no help from the offence and it could be a similar story this week.

Arizona Cardinals at Jacksonville Jaguars

Arizona got out of jail against Minnesota last week as they moved to 2-0 but that shouldn’t take away from another excellent performance on offence.

Kyler Murray and co are averaging 36 points per game through two weeks and should be able to whip up a storm against Jacksonville.

The Jags have lost 17 straight games and number one draft pick Trevor Lawrence is labouring in head coach Urban Meyer’s system, completing only 14 passes in the defeat to Denver. Jacksonville could struggle to keep pace with the Cards.
