New York Giants at Miami Dolphins

It’s no coincidence that Miami’s late push for a playoff place has coincided with rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle exploding into life.

Waddle enjoyed a career day in the Dolphins’ win over the Carolina Panthers, catching nine of 10 targets for 137 yards and a touchdown. The first-round draft pick has had over 64 receiving yards in five of his last seven games, posting an average above 75 yards during that time and his productivity is unlikely to drop against the Giants.

Playing on the same team as the most accurate quarterback in the NFL last month won’t harm Waddle’s cause either with Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa posting the highest completion percentage in the league for November.

Los Angeles Chargers at Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals offence has returned to its explosive best since they came off a bye week, scoring 73 points in their last two games.

Running back Joe Mixon has been the spark that’s ignited the Cincinnati attack, rushing for 288 yards and four touchdowns. Those big performances have come against teams with far better run defences than the Chargers, who allowed a league-high 145.3 rushing yards per game this year.

Mixon’s rushing yards line has gone over in seven of the Bengals’ 11 games this year and with wet and windy conditions forecast come game time in Cincinnati, a run-first approach is likely from the hosts and he may continue his hot streak.

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Jets

Zach Wilson has had a tough introduction to life in the NFL with the rookie quarterback averaging just over 187 passing yards per game since being drafted as the number two pick overall.

Wilson did guide his Jets team to victory over the Houston Texans in Week 12 but looked far from comfortable in that game, finishing with 145 passing yards against one of the worst defences in the league.

The Eagles are a much tougher unit, holding five teams to under 200 passing yards this season.

Darius Slay leads the pass defence and is having an excellent year, boasting the best passer rating allowed figures in the NFL. Pair him with a strong defensive line for Philadelphia who can pressure opposition quarterback repeatedly, and this looks a tough assignment for Wilson.

Washington Football Team at Las Vegas Raiders

A combination of strong defensive plays and long, time-consuming drives have been the bedrock for three straights wins for Washington.

After a rough start to the season, head coach Ron Rivera has gone back to basics in terms of style of play and it’s working well with Washington holding three of their last four opponents to under 20 points.

No team has done a better job of keeping the football than Washington either. They have averaged a league-high 38 minutes 53 seconds in possession in their last three games.

Their ability to frustrate opposition offences spells bad news for a Las Vegas Raiders side missing their best offensive player in tight end Darren Waller, who is out with a knee injury.
