Game preview

Not since September have Baltimore tasted defeat, winning their last nine matches, and they can make it a perfect ten when they host the Jets.

No team has been able to find an answer as the Ravens' offensive juggernaut has been scoring for fun, largely thanks to the dominant run game of quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Mark Ingram.

New York boast the second-best rushing defence in terms of yards allowed, meaning something has to give, but that is partly down to their struggles against the pass.

The Jets' secondary has been below-par all season and they face an injury crisis with star safety Jamal Adams likely to be out, along with fellow defensive backs Brian Poole and Arthur Maulet. Three more have been placed on injured reserve.

They struggled to deal with the passing game of both Cincinnati and Miami and if their run defence holds up then Baltimore will likely look to exploit their vulnerability.

Expect the Ravens to have plenty of scoring chances and wide receiver Willie Snead could be worth supporting to find the end zone.

Snead has scored three touchdowns in his last three matches and is often sought out by Jackson when they are inside the red zone.

Tight ends Mark Andrews and Hayden Hurst also get plenty of receptions but the Jets have been effective in dealing with them and last week held the Dolphins’ Mike Gesicki to just one reception from five targets.
