New Orleans are 13-5 favourites to claim the Super Bowl after the NFL regular season ended on Sunday.

The Saints are number one seeds in the NFC, which means they will play all their playoff matches at home in a bid to reach the end-of-season extravaganza in Atlanta on February 3.

Kansas City, who are 5-1 for glory, will enjoy the same privilege in the AFC, while New England and the Los Angeles Rams will also rest during this week's wildcard round.

The last ten Super Bowl competitors have all enjoyed a bye through to the Divisional round and that is reflected in the outright market, where the Rams are 11-2 and the Patriots 6-1.

NFC North champions Chicago come next at 11-1 after their 24-10 win over Minnesota ensured that Vince Lombardi trophy holders Philadelphia booked their post-season spot with a 24-0 victory at Washington.

The pair will meet at Soldier Field in the final wildcard game on Sunday and the Eagles have been chalked up as 5.5-point underdogs.

In the three other wildcard ties - Indianapolis at Houston, Seattle at Dallas and Los Angeles Chargers at Baltimore - the home teams are all rated as 2.5-point favourites.

The Colts grabbed their place as the number-six seeds in the AFC with a 33-17 win over Tennessee, who would have extended their campaign had they posted a victory, while the Ravens needed a late interception from linebacker CJ Mosley to give them the victory they needed against Cleveland to capture the AFC North title.

Arizona, who finished the season with a 3-13 record, will have the first pick in April's draft, but they will have a new head coach after Steve Wilks was sacked.

Todd Bowles (New York Jets), Dirk Koetter (Tampa Bay), Vance Joseph (Denver), Marvin Lewis (Cincinnati) and Adam Gase (Miami) were other head coaches who were shown the door.

Super Bowl LIII - best prices: 13-5 New Orleans, 5 Kansas City, 11-2 Los Angeles Rams, 6 New England, 11 Chicago, 16 Baltimore, 18 Los Angeles Chargers, 25 Houston, 28 Dallas, 30 Indianapolis, 33 Seattle, 35 Philadelphia.
