New Orleans could slay the Giants with powerful offensive display
Saints have already been involved in two high-scoring affairs
Sky Sports Action, 9.25pm Sunday
New Orleans proved their worth last Sunday with a crucial 43-37 overtime win over Atlanta and their powerful offence can keep rolling against the Giants.
After being shocked by Tampa Bay in the opening week and scraping past the Browns at home, the Saints clicked into gear in their key NFC South clash last week.
Quarterback Drew Brees continues to defy father time in that matchup as he threw for 396 yards and three touchdowns. The highlight however came with 75 seconds left, when the 39-year-old performed a spin move past two Atlanta defensive players to run the ball in and level up the game.
He can be expected to continue to make use of elite wide receiver Michael Thomas, who has 38 receptions already, while running back Alvin Kamara boasts 430 total yards.
No team have scored more than 22 points against the Giants this season, but they are yet to face a side as well-rounded or dangerous as the Saints.
The Jaguars and Cowboys rely mostly on their running game, while the winless Texans have struggled generally and having lost their last nine games.
The Saints will be the first big test of the season for the New York defence, who could have their work cut out.
