Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs head down to Raymond James Stadium to take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the early hours of Monday for a Super Bowl 55 rematch.

Florida has felt the full force of Hurricane Ian but the early impression is that the field in Tampa was largely unaffected.

The Buccaneers' offence has struggled this season, but there are some obvious reasons for that. Brady has been without his receiving corps of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones for parts of the opening rounds and it has showed. The good news for Tampa is that Evans is set to return this week.

The Chiefs' offence has been firing, notwithstanding their struggles against the Colts last week. Mahomes remains one of the league’s best quarterbacks and has excelled despite the departure of some of his key receivers in the off-season.

However, the question remains over how he will handle the Tampa defence, which has been rock-solid this term, although the Bucs have yet to come up against an offence as star-studded as Kansas City’s.

Given the offensive talent on show on both sides, a modest total points line looks well within reach.
