AFC West rivals collide as the Chiefs and the Raiders renew hostilities in Las Vegas.

Kansas City just about beat Green Bay last week to improve to 5-4 but they could cruise past the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium.

Admittedly, things still aren’t quite right for Patrick Mahomes and company, but they have restored some stability in recent weeks and they will no doubt view this game as a big chance to truly get their season back on track and bolster their bid for the AFC West.

Statistically, the Raiders have been solid against the pass, but that looks misleading when you consider that the past four quarterbacks they’ve faced have been Justin Fields, Teddy Bridgewater, Jalen Hurts and Daniel Jones.

Mahomes is on another level to those QBs and he should punish the Vegas secondary with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce at his disposal.

The Raiders might be 5-3, but off-field issues are starting to catch up with them and they slumped to a 23-16 defeat to the Giants last week with their offence struggling.

While the Chiefs have looked vulnerable through the air this season, they did a terrific job in shutting down Jordan Love and the Packers last week with the KC pass-rush looking much better than it has all year.

The Chiefs appear to be heading in the right direction as the season heads towards the sharp end, while the only way may be down for Las Vegas.
