We’ve got a big AFC West divisional matchup here as the Chiefs head to Los Angeles to battle the Chargers. There is word that LA’s best receivers Keenan Allen and Mike Williams will both return for this game, and that makes the Chargers a very enticing play.

The Chiefs are dealing with injury problems of their own. Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster suffered a nasty concussion in the win over the Jaguars last week, while right tackle Andrew Wylie is also injured.

If both those players are ruled out, Kansas City could be in trouble. Smith-Schuster has really stepped up in recent weeks as a top wideout for the Chiefs, while Wylie’s potential absence would mean that they are down to their third-choice right tackle. That would be key for the Chargers, who boast an explosive pass-rush led by Khalil Mack.

Los Angeles put in a solid performance against a red-hot San Francisco team last week and should be able to build on that effort.

The Chiefs narrowly won 27-24 when these teams faced off in Week 2, and another close matchup is expected at SoFi Stadium. Quarterback Justin Herbert always seems to play well against KC and has covered the spread in four of his five games against them.
