We’ve got a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship game here as the Kansas City Chiefs head to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals. While Cincy were victorious when these teams met last January, the Chiefs are taken to prevail this time.

Both quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow have looked superb this season and will be boosted by the return of their top receivers - JuJu Smith-Schuster for the Chiefs and Ja’Marr Chase for the Bengals.

The Bengals fought hard to beat the Chiefs 27-24 last season and although this looks likely to be another close battle, Kansas City should have just about enough to claim victory.

The Chiefs’ defence have struggled to defend the pass, having allowed the second-most passing touchdowns in the NFL this season, and that may see Burrow give a heavy workload to Chase and fellow wide-receivers Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd.

However, the Bengals are dealing with several injuries in their secondary and that has meant they have allowed an extra 30 passing yards per game in their last three above their season average.

Isaiah Pacheco has looked solid as KC’s lead running back and between Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and star tight end Travis Kelce, the Chiefs should be able to take it to the Bengals.

The Chiefs should have too much firepower for the Bengals to handle and are taken to outscore Cincinnati and avenge last season’s playoff defeat.
