It’s fair to say that both the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles will be happy with how their seasons have started.

The Jags are top of the AFC South with a 2-1 record after surprise wins over the Colts and Chargers, while the Eagles have got off to a perfect 3-0 start and look like serious Super Bowl contenders. Therein lies the difference, and is the reason why Philadelphia look a handicap punt giving up around a touchdown on Sunday.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been excellent and is already looking like an early contender for the MVP award. The rapport he has built with receivers AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith is something special and the fact that he is also a running threat gives him that X factor.

The Jaguars' defence has been performing well, but they did go up against a banged-up Justin Herbert and an immobile Matt Ryan. Hurts blows both of those quarterbacks out of the water and his danger as a rusher should give Jacksonville a serious headache.

The Eagles defence boasts a ferocious secondary who should pose plenty of problems for Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence. Philadelphia cornerback Darius Slay will probably be locked on Jacksonville receiver Christian Kirk, which will put a lot of pressure on Zay Jones and Marvin Jones to deliver for the Jags.

This Philadelphia team is one of the most exciting in the NFL and a raucous home crowd can roar the Eagles on to another big win.
