The Colts meet the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football and Dallas should be able to register a comfortable victory in this one.

Indianapolis are playing on a short week after falling to Pittsburgh on Monday night, and it’s fair to say that things have not gone well for the Colts this season.

Having expected to be competing in the playoffs, Indy go into this game with a 4-7-1 record and the shine from the appointment of interim head coach Jeff Saturday appears to be wearing off.

After winning their first game against the Raiders under Saturday and then falling by just a point to the Eagles, Indianapolis came crashing back down with defeat to the Steelers in a game where quarterback Matt Ryan once again struggled to make an impact. Star running-back Jonathan Taylor was also comfortably held in check.

Indianapolis now face a Cowboys defence who have been tremendous all season long. They are the top-ranked team against the pass and lead the NFL in sacks. For an immobile quarterback like Ryan, that could spell disaster.

The Colts’ only hope of moving the chains is to keep the ball on the ground with Taylor, which Dallas will no doubt expect and counter by stacking the box.

The Cowboys’ offence has looked sharp in recent weeks behind the running-back duo of Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott, while quarterback Dak Prescott continues to get the job done.
