Aaron Rodgers won’t be on the field when Green Bay visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday after the Packers’ quarterback tested positive for coronavirus earlier in the week.

Rodgers isn’t vaccinated, which means he is forced to sit out at least one game. Enter Jordan Love, who was infamously taken in round one of the 2020 NFL Draft – much to Rodgers’ chagrin. Love’s sample size of play is small. In fact, he is just five-for-seven in passing in his entire career.

The Packers still have plenty of offensive weapons, but they won’t be able to utilise them as well without one of the best QBs in football on the field.

The only good news for Green Bay going into this one is that the Chiefs do not appear to be the Chiefs of old. The two-time defending AFC champions are a disappointing 4-4 and their most recent setback was a 27-3 humiliation against the Tennessee Titans.
Superstar Kansas City QB Patrick Mahomes has been a turnover machine, throwing ten interceptions with two lost fumbles this season.

With Green Bay surely eager to run the ball – and the clock – and Kansas City’s offence not firing on all cylinders, a relatively low-scoring contest should be in the cards at Arrowhead.
