The NFC East could prove to be one of the more competitive divisions this season and this looks a good opportunity for the New York Giants to steal a march on their arch-rivals Dallas.

The Cowboys have already seen their plans ripped up after quarterback Tony Romo suffered a shoulder injury that is set to keep him out for much of the campaign, so it is a big night for rookie Dak Prescott.

While the Giants’ 6-10 record last season looks dismal and cost veteran coach Tom Coughlin his job, it is worth remembering that they suffered five defeats when they had been leading with just two minutes remaining.
