The Vikings pulled off an almighty comeback to beat the Bills last week while the Cowboys squandered a comfortable lead to lose to the Packers, so it might look as if the wrong team is favoured for this game.

However, the hype around the Vikings may be getting out of hand and this looks an ideal opportunity to sell high.

Star left tackle Christian Darrisaw is a doubt with concussion, and his potential absence would be concerning for Minnesota. Darrisaw is rated the best left tackle in the NFL and without him, quarterback Kirk Cousins could be in for a tough day against a Cowboys defence that ranks third in pass-rushing.

While the Vikings boast an 8-1 record, which is joint-best in the league, they have won seven straight games by just one score. They are getting it done, but certainly aren’t dominating teams.

Further, Minnesota have benefited from turnovers and while Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has coughed up the ball a few times this season, he can clean that up here.

An elite Dallas defence should be able to handle all that Cousins throws at them. The Vikings D have struggled against the run and will have their hands full with Tony Pollard and Zeke Elliott.

The Cowboys have also covered the spread in ten of their last 12 games after a loss, and should be fired up here.
