Cowboys backup quarterback Cooper Rush has yet to lose as a starter since taking over from the injured Dak Prescott, but that run could come to an end when Dallas take on the Rams.

The Cowboys have won the three games Rush has started this season, but those victories have come against the Bengals, Giants and Commanders.

To put that in perspective, New York and Washington are 100-1 and 200-1 to win the Super Bowl, while Dallas’ victory over Cincinnati was largely down to their defence stepping up rather than Rush performing to a high level. Beating the reigning Super Bowl champions will be an entirely different proposition.

The Rams will be desperate to bounce back after they were kept unusually quiet by San Francisco's defence in a 24-9 defeat in Week Four. Quarterback Matt Stafford has had his struggles but he is still a top-notch QB and he be will keen to silence any doubters.

LA's defence, meanwhile, remains one of the most ferocious units in the league and star defensive tackle Aaron Donald will be doing all he can to pressurise Rush at every opportunity.

Back the Rams to show Dallas just how far they still have to go.
