The 9.25pm game between the Cowboys and Chiefs shapes up to be a highlight of the Week 11 NFL card and it should be a cracking contest with a lot of points scored.

The Chiefs, AFC champions in the last two seasons, have not looked quite like their usual selves for much of this season, with star quarterback Patrick Mahomes making uncharacteristic mistakes including throwing ten interceptions, while their defence, a weak point even when things were going well, has been little short of a disaster.

Kansas City produced a much better display to beat the Raiders 41-14 last week and improve their record to 6-4, but it may be wise not to overreact to one good day, especially against a top team like the Cowboys.

Dallas lead the NFC East with a 7-2 record, and they are 8-1 against the handicap, flopping just once for their backers - in a baffling home loss to the Broncos two weeks ago.

They bounced back by thrashing Atlanta 43-3 last week and look ready to go toe-to-toe with their hosts. The Cowboys have lost star receiver Amari Cooper (Covid) this week, but they are not short of weapons, with CeeDee Lamb a real star in the making and Ezekiel Elliott leading their rushing attack.

Back the Cowboys to provide a proper test of whether the Chiefs are really back to their best.
