The AFC North is shaping up to be the tightest division in football this year and both Cleveland and Cincinnati need this win like blood.

The Browns have fallen on hard times, losing three of their past four games. Most of the blame lies with the offence and that means the under holds a lot of appeal.

Quarterback Baker Mayfield is throwing with an injured shoulder and he isn't playing well. Odell Beckham Jr has been cut by the team, and that's a big loss even if his production hasn't been eye-popping.

The Bengals will no longer have to scheme for him and can divert defensive attention elsewhere. Cleveland will also be without starting right tackle Jack Conklin, who dislocated his elbow last week.

Browns tight end Harrison Bryant has also popped up on the injury report and Cleveland relies on him for their multiple tight end sets.

The Bengals had one bad game last week against the Jets, but that's an outlier. Other than that their defence has been playing really well, and they just shutdown the Ravens and Lamar Jackson the week before.

Cleveland has a dynamic pass-rush led by Myles Garrett, and major talent in the secondary. As such, the Bengals are expected to run it with Joe Mixon a bit more than usual here, which will keep the clock churning.

The Browns had one random explosion against the Chargers a few weeks ago, but outside of that they have looked like one of the worst offenses in the league.
