Chicago are making another quarterback change for their game against the Green Bay Packers, but even with the promising rookie Justin Fields coming back to replace veteran Andy Dalton, it’s really only a case of re-arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

The Bears have made some progress on offence over the season with Fields able to look to wide receiver Darnell Mooney and tight end Cole Kmet, who both have a lot of potential.

But running back David Monntgomery is an injury doubt and the real problem is that the Bears are facing the Packers.

Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers famously yelled about ‘owning’ the Bears when running in a touchdown in their 24-14 Week Six win and, while it wasn’t particularly sporting, it’s hard to argue with him.

Rodgers has a 21-5 record against the Bears in 26 starts against them, throwing for 57 touchdowns and only ten ­interceptions.

The Packers have won all five of their home games this season, covering the handicap each time, and they have been the best team in the league for punters to follow, rewarding their handicap supporters in ten of their 12 games.

Temperatures at Lambeau Field are forecast to get only just above freezing and the Bears looks set to be left out in the cold again by the Packers.
