Game preview

Teams are struggling to find an answer to Baltimore’s offensive juggernaut and the Rams look set to be the latest side crushed by them.

The Ravens have averaged nearly 40 points in their last four games and proved just how devastating they can be when demolishing Houston 41-7 last week.

Lamar Jackson threw four touchdown passes, and even with the QB and main tunning back Mark Ingram continuing to run the ball well, Gus Edwards put up 112 rushing yards and a touchdown to emphasise just how stacked their ground game is.

The Rams have suffered a slump after last season’s run to the Super Bowl, and their offence has looked poor at times, even in their victory over the Bears last week.

Running back Todd Gurley is still looking to rekindle last year’s magic, while quarterback Jared Goff is inconsistent.

That should give Rams coach Sean McVay plenty to worry about, as Baltimore’s offensive power has overshadowed just how well their defence have played.

In their last five games, the Ravens have allowed just three passing touchdowns and they have been bolstered by the addition of top cornerback Marcus Peters, who they signed from the Rams.

Baltimore will be full of confidence and can take another step towards booking their spot in the playoffs.
