Las Vegas get to play their first match in front of their home fans at their state-of-the-art stadium in Week One's Monday night offering, but the visiting Baltimore Ravens could well spoil the party.

The talk in the build-up to this match has all been around the Ravens' injuries which have severely depleted their running-back options.

JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill - their three top players in the position - have all suffered season-ending injuries, and Baltimore's running game looks set to be led by Ty’Son Williams, who impressed in pre-season games, while veterans Latavius Murray and Le’Veon Bell also signed this week.

It's a significant reshuffle but the Ravens' ground game is so well drilled they should still be able to operate, whoever is racking up carries, while quarterback Lamar Jackson's unique ability as a runner gives them another dimension.

Vegas have their personnel issues too. Other than signing Kenyan Drake to be their second running back, they did little to bolster their line-up and they lost wide receiver Nelson Agholor in free agency. Starting guard Richie Incognito has also been ruled out.

Baltimore will see themselves as potential Super Bowl contenders and this is a good opportunity to lay down an early marker.
