Baltimore and Tennessee to defy low points expectations
Sky Sports Action, 9.25pm Sunday
Baltimore and Tennessee have shown enough in flashes to suggest they could be contenders this season but last week was one to forget for both teams.
The Ravens and the Titans both struggled offensively and while they were solid enough defensively, they suffered narrow defeats to Cleveland and Buffalo - teams Super Bowl contenders would expect to beat.
Baltimore have conceded the third-fewest number of points this season, while Tennessee are fifth in those standings.
However, the combination of the need to bounce back following losses and an attractively low total-points line of 41 suggests it could be worth taking the over.
Both teams are likely to want to run extensively in Nashville, but they have both shown their capabilities through the air.
The Titans were excellent in defeating Philadelphia two weeks ago and while they stood 29th in the points-scored rankings after Week Five, quarterback Marcus Mariota is still capable of posting a commanding performance.
The same can also be said of his opposite number Joe Flacco, who is linking up well with new receiver John Brown.
The Ravens were able to score only three field goals in last week's defeat to the Browns, but that was the first game of the season that they have failed to post at least 23 points. It's not likely to be a shootout, but there could still be enough scores to see the points line eclipsed.
