Valtteri Bottas the value as Mercedes bounce back in Brazil
Hamilton favourite for Interlagos pole
Brazilian Grand Prix qualifying
Sky Sports F1, 5pm Saturday
Whatever Mercedes got wrong in Mexico they seem to have sorted at Interlagos this week and Valtteri Bottas could be the best bet to claim pole position for tomorrow's Brazilian Grand Prix.
The Silver Arrows lagged behind Red Bull and Ferrari in Mexico City but Lewis Hamilton was still able to collect the points he needed to claim his fifth world championship.
Hamilton has historically gone off the boil after securing the title - he's never won a race in the same season after wrapping up the title early.
Sebastian Vettel has a good record in Brazil and was only a whisker off the pace in practice yesterday. But it's nine races since the German claimed a pole position so he looks a bit short at 11-8.
Bottas beat Vettel to pole at Interlagos last year after Hamilton had crashed out early in the session.
There's a chance of some patchy rain during the session, but an expected downpour yesterday afternoon failed to materialise, so a dry session is more likely.
