The F1 world title looks set to be decided in Mexico on Sunday but the excitement level could not be much lower with Lewis Hamilton having effectively wrapped up his fifth championship in the United States last week.

Leading Sebastian Vettel by 70 points and guaranteed to own the most-wins tiebreaker, Hamilton just needs to finish seventh or better in Mexico, Brazil or Abu Dhabi even if the Ferrari man wins all three races. Vettel needs to win every event to extend the title race even if Hamilton fails to score a point.

Hamilton is one of three different winners at the smart new Mexico City circuit. He won in 2016, having been second to teammate Nico Rosberg at the track's first race the year before, and was ninth last year after an early collision with Vettel.

The British driver, fastest in both Friday sessions last week, is 2-1 to top the times in first practice, with Vettel 3-1 and both Red Bull drivers 4-1 at a track which suits their car better than many others.

Hamilton's Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas was fastest in first practice last year and might well be overpriced at 14-1 with three each-way places available.

Recommendation
V Bottas fastest in practice one
1pt e-w 14-1 general
