Nico Rosberg surrendered his 43-point advantage in the F1 title race fairly tamely over the last six races but he looks happier back on home turf and can secure victory from pole in today’s German Grand Prix.

Rosberg was faster than Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton in all three practice sessions at Hockenheim and showed great character to overcome adversity in the final session.
