Aussie star Jason Doyle is finishing the World Championship season nicely and can round off a mixed 2019 by eclipsing the title fighters in the Grand Prix of Poland.

It’s the tenth and final round of the season with Bartosz Zmarzlik all but crowned world champ with a seven-point lead over Emil Sayfutdinov.

The Pole has never scored fewer than 13 points on the track and having chalked up four heat wins in Torun 12 months ago he’s going to fancy his chances of signing off a memorable season in victorious style.

But while Zmarzlik, Sayfutdinov and Leon Madsen fight it out for steps on the podium, 2017 champ Doyle can bring his season to an end with a win.

Second when he first raced there in 2015, Doyle knows the shale well as a rider for Torun in the Ekstraliga.

This year, by his own admission, hasn’t been the greatest but the Swindon star is saving his best for last with 12 points in Denmark a month ago followed by a 13-point haul in Cardiff, in which he had six top-two finishes, before taking fourth in the final.
