The MotoGP field get back together in the Czech Republic after their summer break with the title still up for grabs.

Marc Marquez is 23-10 favourite but three other riders - Maverick Vinales, Andrea Dovizioso and Valentino Rossi are all within ten points of the Spaniard and single-figure prices for glory with nine races left.

Pole position has gone to a different rider at each of the last four events and yesterday's practice sessions suggested it will be another competitive weekend.

The first practice was run in the wet and the second in dry conditions and they produced totally different top threes. Johann Zarco, who took pole at Assen, was first in the opener, from Marquez and Jorge Lorenzo, but in the afternoon Dovisioso showed the way with Jonas Folger second and Danilo Petrucci third.

Marquez is favourite for qualifying but his Honda teammate Dani Pedrosa looks a worthwhile each-way alternative.

Pedrosa was fourth in FP1 and topped the times for much of the second session before finishing seventh.

There have been four different winners at Brno in the last five years, with Pedrosa winning twice - in 2012 and 2014 - at what he describes as one of his favourite circuits.

He has taken two poles in the last six races, in Spain and Catalunya, and was on the podium from third on the grid in Germany last time out.

The Hondas tested at Brno last month, so should have plenty of set-up information available and should be able to put in a strong showing.
